Studies on the behaviour of other (non-dog) species
While the activity of the DogUP lab is mainly focused on the dog, we are sometimes involved in studies on the behaviour of other domestic animals. For instance, we are currently performing studies on the social behaviour of pigs and donkeys.
In addition, the DogUP lab is also home to the Behavioural Medicine service for companion animals. Clinical cases are used as case studies for the students of Veterinary Medicine and particularly relevant cases are published in specialised journals.
